OPERATIONS SPECIALIST\FLOW CENTERPOINTE 2ND SHIFT
JOB DETAILS
As our Operations Specialist, you'll assist in directing Warehouse Operatives through daily activities in order to meet production goals. You'll facilitate the movement of cartons throughout the facility and reconcile discrepancies to meet daily production goals. You'll also partner with our Flow Support team to maintain wave integrity during the shift; communicate between departments to ensure smooth carton flow and adequate staffing requirements; and assist in providing functional area training to existing employees and new hires. In addition, you'll attend daily operations meetings to discuss planning, staffing needs and daily activities and communicate information back to area leaders and employees.
Qualifications
Requirements for the position include:
- 2 years' experience in an automated distribution center
- Associate's degree in Business or a related field is preferred
- Previous reconciliation experience is preferred
- Basic computer skills and an understanding of overall distribution operations
- Previous Nike distribution experience is a plus
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds frequently
- Strong problem solving skills
- Able to prioritize workloads, evaluate complex situations and make sound business decisions
- Able to handle confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner
