Description:

The Systems and Analytics function is responsible for providing infrastructure and support to the entire HR community and other stakeholders across the firm for all activities related to the employee life cycle. An important focus of the team is to effectively and efficiently deliver technology solutions, project management, reporting and analytics to the organization, working closely with key business partners across the firm.

The Compensation Associate will be responsible for providing analytical support to Compensation with exposure to Talent Management, Recruiting and all aspects to HR Reporting.

Responsibilities:
Work closely with Compensation Consultants and Business Partners to help design and deliver analytics and modeling tools that meet client needs, increase efficiencies and support broader BlackRock objectives
Assist in the development and delivery of firm-wide and business level reporting and analytics necessary to support the annual compensation review process
Provide ongoing support by executing data analysis, streamlining reporting deliverables and ensuring data accuracy
Responsible for the ongoing maintenance and reconciliation of all Compensation related data
Actively contribute to process improvements pertaining to data flows.
Assist with the development, testing and maintenance of BlackRock’s online year-end compensation review system
Consolidate and submit employee level data for external market benchmarking processes
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience; Financial services experience and/or experience in a global environment is desirable
Must have relevant experience working in a highly quantitative and analytical compensation or finance role.
Bachelor degree or equivalent
Highly motivated, detail-oriented data reporting expert with strong technical skills necessary to support a variety of analysis, processes and initiatives
Must have extensive and advanced experience with MS Access and Excel, including the ability to independently manage, reconcile and analyze large datasets and the ability to write complex and advanced formulas
Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter, work independently, and follow open issues through to resolution
Ability to prioritize multiple projects
Analytical skills with a proactive, creative approach to problem solving.
Must be able to work under tight deadlines in a pressure filled environment.
