We are sourcing for a Student Worker to join the team. New hires will be mentored by more senior members of the business and work closely in a team environment to develop and implement solutions that address our clients’ business needs. Our client base includes some of the largest, most sophisticated financial institutions in the world, as well as government institutions across the globe, providing our student workers/analysts with diverse and challenging work experiences.
Job Description:
Perform bottom-up valuation, assist in portfolio risk assessments, and/or contribute to strategic and thematic idea development
Provide quantitative and qualitative analysis to support portfolio management in trading, hedging, and scenario analysis
Utilize the firm’s proprietary systems to assist in daily responsibilities
Generate bond-level and portfolio analytics for client presentations
Assist Portfolio Managers with various market activities
Interface with clients to present results and address requests and questions
Qualifications:
Demonstrated record of academic achievement and leadership
Strong critical thinking and problem solving abilities
Exceptional communication skills and an ability to synthesize complex issues and ideas
Strong quantitative skills, including familiarity with Excel
Superior organizational skills and the ability to operate under tight deadlines
Self-starters who are also team players and able to demonstrate good judgment
Ability to multi-task and prioritize various projects
