Responsibilities
This position conducts moderately complex customer billing analysis and activities and is responsible for the billings and collections associated with specified revenues. The Billings and Collections Analyst provides accurate and timely General Ledger reporting and the reconciliation and analysis of appropriate revenue accounts.
Responsible for the billing and collections of specified revenues.
Develops and documents methods & procedures to ensure all payments are received.
Performs accurate and timely general ledger posting of the revenue and receivables associated with the billings.
Responsible for general ledger account reconciliations and analysis.
Provides financial reporting for upper management.
Responsible to handle any journal entries required ensuring accordance with GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley.
Qualifications
BA/BS in Accounting/Finance or other related business discipline with relatable Accounting and Financial Operations experience
A thorough understanding of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial controls and the ability to work with Accounting and other internal Finance teams on these items.
Minimum 1-2 years billing & collection experience
General accounting experience preferred
Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
Ability to communicate clearly, both verbal and written, with all levels of management and external customers
