SALES MANAGER; FOUNDRY & AUTOMOTIVE MARKETS
Location: Will work from a home based office in the Midwest (e.g., Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, etc.)
Our client is an international leading provider of non-destructive inspection equipment for industrial applications. Known for being an innovator who places their highest priority on quality, our client is involved in a broad range of industries, including automotive, aviation and aerospace, shipbuilding and vessel construction, electronics and other industrial sectors. Reporting to the General Manager, this position will be responsible for individual sales efforts as well as managing representatives in the territory for the Foundries & Automotive markets in North America. This could be a great opportunity for someone with a background selling into the Foundry & Automotive markets to grow their career with an international leader of non-destructive inspection equipment.
Responsible for the sales of NDT Product line in the North America Foundry & Automotive Markets. Manage existing customer base and work to acquire new customers.
Main task is to increase incoming orders and sales, establish new customer contacts, grow the customer base and develop relationships. Identify customer needs and present solutions.
Negotiate purchase orders and contracts and manage sales transaction through delivery of the product. Work with the Service Team to coordinate support services. Gather market intelligence and share details with Product Marketing Group.
BA/BS degree in a technical discipline.
Strong sales and negotiation skills.
Strong presentation skills.
Greater than 5 year's experience with industrial sales.
Experience in the Foundry & Automotive industry is a must have.
Experience selling capital equipment is a plus.
Familiarity with NDT (non-destructive testing) industry a plus.
Able to interpret technical requirements of the customer and understand technical documents and drawings.
Must be able to delegate and balance work-load demands across a wide range of responsibilities.
Must be willing to travel extensively throughout the USA and possibly Canada.
