General Job Description:

Lead a team of employees engaged in enrolling and retaining on line students. Develop, monitor and facilitate the activities of the student retention program. Provide support services to students to maximize student completion rates. Evaluate and resolve student inquiries, issues and problems, and ensure appropriate action is taken to the satisfaction of the student, Company, and/or regulatory agencies in compliance with policy, procedures and legal requirements. Ensure students the best possible student experience by working to continuously improve service operations and approaches.

Job Responsibilities:
Recruit, select, supervise, orient, develop and evaluate performance of personnel which includes training, career advancement and execution of departmental goals and measurements to ensure efficient and effective department performance.
Manage performance of advisors to ensure the highest quality of student relationships and student success.
Establish and monitor performance based goals and metrics to ensure all company policies are enforced and relationships with students successfully developed.
Achieve student retention goals which are consistent with the department targets for retention.
Identify potential withdrawals and actively assist in the retention effort working with members of the staff and faculty.
Correlate attrition/retention statistics to identify student withdrawal patterns, such as the identification of specific courses or faculty that have high drops, or additional problematic or challenging areas.
Establish a plan of action to address such patterns.
Partner with Admissions and Financial Aid to resolve problems and concerns regarding student issues including retention and attrition.
Develop and maintain annual evaluations of staff.
Develop individual performance plans and development plans for each team member, meeting with them periodically for updates and coaching.
Create and build innovative services to ensure our students the best possible student experience.
Help create a professional atmosphere of mutual support among the employees and various departments in order to maintain the highest levels of organization flexibility.
This includes the training of employees and management so that world-class customer service is emphasized and delivered, that career paths are obtainable, and employees understand their career potential.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
The successful candidate will have 3 to 5+ years of experience in leadership roles overseeing customer relationship management. Other important qualifications will include:
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer-based Information Systems (e.g., management, decision), Management of Information Systems, Computer Engineering or Information Technology OR Master’s degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer-based Information Systems (e.g., management, decision), Computer Engineering or Information Technology. Courses in educational technology must focus on computer skill competencies such as programming, multimedia technologies and web development
Faculty Mgmt requirements- 2+ years teaching online; managed remote faculty
Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business needs - to include some weekends and/or late shifts as necessary.
Demonstrated leadership skills in creating a team oriented culture.
A demonstrated ability to analyze business processes and knowledge of how to improve these processes in order to achieve and exceed service level standards.
High Integrity.
Minimum of 3 years experience in managing teams of 5 or more direct reports, including responsibility for development, coaching, and determining performance measurements.
Ability to coach and counsel others.
Ability to plan, prioritize and organize effectively.
Time management skills.
Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment that requires normal safety precautions.
