Audi Marketing Analytics & Insights Manager - AUD000426

Primary Location: United States-Virginia-Herndon

Role Summary:
Translate AoA and external marketing metrics into actionable brand & business recommendations.
Direct Audi marketing data collection ongoing, for campaigns, and ad hoc requests.
Develop and monitor strategic goals & campaign targets, providing feedback and consultation to marketing business units. Provide strategic guidance to senior management.
Identify, evaluate, and appropriately address marketing insights needs.
Proactively gather / evaluate impactful market information; cascade key insights to inform smart business decisions within marketing and other key stakeholders.
Monitor market activity & formulate recommendations to improve performance in key markets.
Cascade brand health and market performance studies and insights to functional departments.

Role Responsibilities:
Translate marketing metrics performance into actionable strategic recommendations.
Determine Audi specific marketing analytics requirements & needs in collaboration with department managers & staff; work with Purchasing and department manager(s) to estimate budget and scope of work requirements for new marketing metrics and KPI measurement and reporting.
Collaborate with key agency partners on analysis and recommendations coming from campaign or ongoing marketing performance measures.
Champion performance tracking for marketing efforts including: traditional and digital, online and offline, strategic and tactical, national/regional/local
Establish & control AoA Marketing Analytics and Insights budget.
Plan & manage Audi marketing campaign performance goals, measurement, and report-in findings.
Maintain regular communication with other AoA consumer intelligence and insights colleagues, e.g. Customer Experience, Strategy, Public Relations, Sales, Financial Services, After Sales.
Coordinate marketing KPI reporting needs and fulfillment with Audi AG marketing staff, VWoA Group Marketing & advertising agencies to support their information needs and exchange information relative to brand and campaign performance.
Monitor and provide insight of consumer trends in marketing and related brand impact.
Coordinate with Retail Marketing and Regional Marketing for Tier II/III marketing insights needs; investigate and recommend innovative solutions to equip AoA Field with marketing insights.
Continually working with marketing and agency stakeholders on performance measurement, observation, recommendations, and optimization to maximize reach and impact at improved spend efficiencies.
Utilize marketing analytics and research to develop Audi Marketing positioning recommendations.

Required Experience:
5-7 years of related experience
Marketing experience including marketing analytics and brand health management
Budget management experience & performance results tracking
Desired Experience:
Experience with marketing analytics directly: setting-up, implementing, analyzing results, cascading key insights and recommendations
Experience interfacing with multiple marketing areas, meeting individual stakeholder requirements and also the holistic marketing area
Experience with campaign tracking, KPI-setting, results reporting including key drivers
Experience assessing overall brand health and insights on key drivers, internal and external
Experience with brand positioning development & recommendations
Business owner/decision-making experience in a central Marketing area (e.g. Media, Digital, Brand Marketing, CRM, Retail)

Required Skills:
Understanding of the purchase funnel and linkages between marketing activities and outcomes
Familiarity with marketing analytics best practices, applications, and strategic and tactical utilization
Ability to set strategic and campaign-level KPI’s, develop and implement performance measurement tools, and translate data into actionable recommendations for Marketing and AoA overall
Ability to communicate & interact effectively with all levels of the organization & outside agencies/suppliers
Demonstrated success in developing strong working relationships across many layers of an organization & across cultural boundaries

Required Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Market Research, Communications, Business, or related area
Desired Education:
Master’s Degree or MBA
Work Flexibility:
Up to 15% domestic travel; flexible work schedule
