Description

The primary purpose of the Team Member Relations (TMR) Specialist is to be a business partner and primary process owner to assigned department for administration of Regional and Local Toyota policies and to ensure compliance with state and federal laws.  In addition, TMR Specialist works to achieve TMR department business plan/hoshin through assigned priority owner.

Responsibilities : 
Daily management and resolution of T/M issues and concerns
Responsible for team member relations for specified department
Train, coach and provide guidance to Supervisors on HR policies, procedures and applicable laws.
Business partner to all levels of management
Responsible for daily genba review (shop floor)
Lead Business Partner and SME for assigned department
Responsible for administering HR policies, guidelines and team member advocate for 600+ t/ms
Responsible for project management to include development, implementation and PDCA cycle.
Responsible for Subject Matter Expert understanding to ensure compliance with Federal and State law and adherence to regional and local Toyota policies, procedures and guidelines.
Ability to apply TBP and JKK thinking way to resolve HR and TM problems and process issues, as well as, work environment/culture issues 
Through self contribution achieve TMR business plan as primary process owner of assigned hoshin priorities.

Qualifications Required:

Bachelor's degree or 5 years equivalent professional experience in Human Resources or Employee Relations
Experience working in a manufacturing environment with a minimum 500 person workforce
Ability and willingness to work Rotating Shifts
  
Preferred:

Bachelor's degree in in Human Resources, Business or Communications
Experience working directly in an Human Resources role
Project Management Experience
Experience with Toyota Business Practices
