Production Operator I - Miami, FL
Description
Performs entry level routine production functions including equipment set-up, filling, packing, packaging, sample collection, labeling and inspecting with general supervision.
Performs cleaning activities of the production areas and production equipment.
Maintains accurate documentation and logs in accordance with FDA (Food and Drug Administration), GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and ISO9000 (International Organization for Standardization).
Effectively works in a team setting, supporting team goals and objectives. Makes effective decisions relative to position requirements.
Must follow instructions and work within routine, standard procedures, making decisions as required.
Works under direct supervision, following standard operating procedures, batch records, and other instructional documentation.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent is required. 0 -1 Year Manufactuirng Experience required.
Basic proficiency with PCs (Personal Computers) and basic use of a Windows operating system is required
Must be able to read proficiently, write legibly, and perform basic arithmetic.
Must be able to maintain neat, accurate and complete records and logs, both manually and/or electronically.
Must be able to maintain continuous mental and visual attention (eye-hand coordination).
Must have focused attention to detail with critical thinking ability.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds repetitively, and up to 65 pounds non -repititively.
