We are seeking an Automotive Technician to work with general utility vans for a specialty automotive dealership. The dealership sells specialty vans to customers with mobility needs such as wheel chairs and motorized scooters. This position will make you feel good about what you do and who is being helped ! This is an opportunity to join a growing national company.
Responsibilities will include:
Identify mechanical problems
Using computerized diagnostic equipment
Test parts and systems to ensure that they are working properly
Follow checklists to ensure that all critical parts are examined
Test and lubricate the vehicle's engine and other major components
Perform basic care and maintenance, including oil changes, tune-ups, and tire rotations
Disassemble and reassemble parts
Explain to clients their automotive problems and the repairs done on their vehicles
To help ensure a great fit for both the Tech and the company, we are seeking candidates with the following experience/skills/traits
2-3 years automotive repair experience
ASE certifications
Enjoy talking to customers
Mechanical aptitude
Electrical aptitude
