Nestle Waters, NA is a division of Nestle SA and operates in the US and Canada.  Primary products are bottled water in both the Retail and Home & Office channels.  Brands include Zephyrhills, Ozarka, Poland Spring, Arrowhead, Nestle PureLife, Perrier and San Pellegrino.

The primary business of the Home & Office delivery division is the sale and service of bottled water and related products and water-dispensing equipment to commercial and residential customers.

Target Location: 
Office in Brea, CA.
Area of responsibility (CA, AZ, NV) Approximately 25% travel
  
Reports to:  Division VP

Compensation:
Competitive salaried position (depending on qualifications) plus bonus, monthly car allowance

Overview:
The Division Logistics Manager’s key focus is to improve physical logistics while leading financial results through warehouse management, facility compliance, fleet management, and inventory planning. This position will assume a national posture in logistics consistency and process improvement and help drive logistical evolution through leadership at the national, division and zone level.  You will oversee 19 facilities with dotted line responsibility for a team of approximately 100.

Accountabilities:
Warehouse and Facility Management
Ensures all regulatory, environmental, safety, quality, and service standards are in place and adhered to at all times
Ensures appropriate staffing requirements and delivers labor productivity plans
Identifies and oversees capital improvement process from expenditure request through project execution
Serves as point of contact for facility lease activity and/or facility location optimization
Ensures product is handled, stored, and shipped in conformance to NWNA standard operating procedure
Maintains an equipment structure/level to accomplish the shipping and receiving mission in a safe effective manner
Assists in researching material handling equipment to ensure procurement of the most suitable equipment in terms of performance, safety, reliability, and costs
Oversees the supplying, staging of material for distribution. Ensures materials and product are stored properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures
Fleet Management Focuses:
Manages equipment fleet to assure maximum efficiency and quality at least possible cost and in alignment with corporate objectives
Manages budget and effective utilization of vehicle while maintaining costs and area requirements
Forecast/plan vehicle needs and staffing requirements to continually support operational needs
Inventory Planning Responsibilties:
Manages inventory levels and coordinates inventory pre-builds to compensate for periods of capacity limitations
Develops recommendations for Sales & Operations planning process and senior management regarding production and inventory plans impacting multiple business units based on sound independent analysis and consideration of multiple variables and cost impact
Provides periodic assessments including manufacturing capacity for major capital strategy decisions, new product capacity evaluations, production alternatives, and implementation strategies to support new product introduction timing
Ensures proper security and controls in place to minimize loss

Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or general business preferred
Master’s degree preferred but not required
A mimimum of 7 to 9 years of experience in logistics and supply chain leadership role
Experience in overseeing multiple locations
Advanced interpersonal and leadership skills to include to ability to effectively interface at all levels of the organization
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Possess values of operating with the highest integrity and ethical standards
