Summary:
The primary responsibility of the Customer Inventory Support Specialist role is to assist in the daily monitoring and maintenance of Sealed Air’s Customer Service inventory support tools by analyzing data and communicating with Customer Service Representatives and customers to improve customer service and maintain the correct level of customer inventory. This role will begin in Greenville, SC and will move to the corporate location in Charlotte, NC.
Responsibilities:
Provide daily support and maintenance to the Customer Specific Inventory Management (CSIM) program; including validating data, analyzing exception reports, converting units and measure, and adding new data elements to the program as needed.
Manage information flow with customers and Customer Service Representatives to ensure that all information driving the CSIM program is up-to-date and accurate.
Integrate customer supplied data into the CSIM model as needed as wells as collects and analyzes data.
Will be responsible for initiating and managing various programs analyzing the necessary data.
Investigate expedited CSIM orders to determine root cause and adjust the program as needed to avoid additional costs.
Detailed review of all CSIM customers to understand purchasing trends, investigate stocking issues, and re-evaluate program items.
Qualifications:
HS/Secondary Education
3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role
Proficiency in MS Office applications – Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc.
Experience using SAP software
Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as above average interpersonal skills
Strong analytical skills with an above average mathematical aptitude
Strong attention to detail including solid skills in database management
Professionalism, consistency, and thoroughness in interacting with internal and external customers
Above average customers service skills
Excellent problem solving skills and reasoning abilities in order to quickly and effectively address customer needs
Ability to professionally interact with all levels of customers as well as all levels of Sealed Air employees.
