The Senior Financial Analyst will lead the administration of Sealed Air’s Corporate Financial systems; primarily the Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and Financial Data Management (FDM) systems in support of Sealed Air’s monthly consolidation process to meet Internal and External financial requirements.
Work with Internal, External Corporate teams, FP&A team and end users to effectively determine needs, define business requirements and expand functionality and usage of Hyperion Financial Management and Financial Data Management
Is the lead system advocate and subject matter expert (SME) for the Hyperion system and first level of support for remote users.
Identify and document opportunities for improvement within the Hyperion suite in alignment with the needs of the business and pro-actively take the steps necessary to setup, test and deploy systemic improvements.
Initiate and manage requests for HFM enhancements to meet the changing needs of the business. This includes hosting discovery meetings with business and technical staff, defining/documenting requirements, tracking development, performing/coordinating user acceptance testing, and promoting to Production.
Responsible for ongoing system maintenance and support of users and monthly close as follows:
- Training of staff as necessary to improve analysis
- Create training manuals and guides
- Answer questions regarding assumptions and logic in reporting/analysis models
- Assist with technical issues related to the software
- Troubleshoot data integrity issues as they arise
Use of Shared Services for Security Administration
Lead various projects / initiatives as assigned by the Corporate Financial Systems Manager. Includes training and knowledge transfer initiatives with Finance group.
Maintaining documentation on key systems and processes.
Support SOX testing requirements for systems that directly support external reporting.
Required :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area.
3+ years of Accounting/Finance experience and 5+ years hands on technical experience / knowledge of Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and related Hyperion products: Financial Data Management (FDM) and Smart View.
Experience with Financial Reporting
Preferred :
Experience with Windows Office applications along with advanced Excel skills (including macros) is desirable.
Experience managing contractors and consultants
Life Cycle Management (LCM), Informatica), SAP BW Experience with relational databases (ie. Oracle, MS SQL, Access) is desirable.
Strong analytic and problem-solving abilities showing initiative and customer focus in a deadline sensitive environment.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with all levels of the organization.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment; able to multi-task with proven follow-through and adherence to changing priorities and deadlines
